The consumption
of drinks packaged in metal cans with separation
or displacement opening (environmentally friendly) does no offer
adequate hygienic protection in that the can
may become contaminated by the outside surface of the lid that the
liquid must necessarily contact (during consumption). Further
risks come from the lips contacting the lid and from the openng
profile when the drink is being sipped directly from the can.
The
SHES (Safe Hygienic Easy Simple) system will overcome of these
deficiencies by adopting an integrated dispenser, tied inside the
can to the removable part of the lid.
In this improved
can, pulling the opening lever not only
opens the can, but also pulls the dispenser toward the outside thus
implementing a solid leak-proof connection between the dispenser
and the lid.
In
terms of industrial fabrication, this innovative container can
be easily manufactured with only minor changes or additions to the
existing manufacturing lines already developed for the production
of existing cans.
The innovation is environmentally friendly,
with no impact on the environment thanks to the dispenser being
built with the same material of the can and lid, or a compatible
material, allows for a full recycle of the can after use.
Its adoption
represents a moderate increment of the total
costs while allowing conspicuous advantages in terms of hygiene,
safety, and convenience.
